Tools of the Trade
What I shoot with (and how I make the most of it).
You don’t need a warehouse of gear to make powerful, polished content. You need the right tools—and the experience to use them well. Here's what I use to capture floral visuals that connect:
Cameras
Panasonic Lumix G8 — My go-to for handheld video and b-roll. Built-in stabilization + pro settings for buttery motion and cinematic vibes.
iPhone 15 Pro — Yes, it shoots 4K, and yes, it’s powerful. I use it for Reels, UGC, and mobile-first content that doesn’t feel DIY.
GoPro Hero — Ideal for time-lapse, floral installs, or behind-the-scenes captures in tight, fast-moving spaces.
Lenses
Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 — Great for natural light and sharp lifestyle content.
Olympus M.Zuiko 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R — My utility zoom for clean, stabilized footage when I need flexibility in-frame.
Lighting
Portable Softboxes — Lightweight and quick to set up for consistent, diffused lighting in studio and onsite shoots.
Ring Light & Clamp LEDs — Ideal for Reels, flat lays, and flower-focused closeups.
Editing + Color
CapCut Desktop — My main hub for editing Reels and shortform video. Flexible, fast, and built for creators.
Audacity — Audio cleanup for voiceovers, interviews, and quiet brand moments.
Adobe Suite — Visuals, branding, templates, and client-ready mockups.
💡 Fun fact: I’ve shot full campaigns in the back of flower coolers, at dawn in the fields, and mid-event with two kids in tow. My gear is optimized for real-world floral life—and still delivers polished results.
